1. 100% Read-Only & Non-Destructive Protection

GradeMart operates under a strictly non-destructive security model for all seller systems:

• No Database Alterations: The TallyPrime Windows Connector and Google Sheets sync only execute read queries (HTTP GET XML). They never alter, write, overwrite, or delete any vouchers, transactions, ledger accounts, or journal entries in your Tally database.
• Zero Risk of Accounting Corruption: Your financial ledgers, balance sheets, and company accounts in Tally remain completely isolated and untouched.
• Spreadsheet Cell Integrity: Google Sheets connections use Google's read-only OAuth scope. GradeMart cannot edit formulas, add columns, or delete rows in your cloud sheets.

2. Confidentiality of Purchasing Costs & Floor Rates

When you sync purchasing prices or standard costs from Tally or Excel, your proprietary supplier costs are shielded by enterprise-grade data isolation:

• Strictly Private Seller Partition: Your purchase rate is encrypted and stored in your private seller vault. It is NEVER shown to buyers, procurement officers, competitors, or other sellers.

• Initial Moderation: Newly discovered products imported from any integration enter 'PENDING_REVIEW' status. A GradeMart catalog administrator reviews the product title, HSN code, and images.
• Zero-Delay Live Updates: Once a product is approved, all subsequent price changes, stock adjustments, and inventory decrements synchronize instantaneously (<10ms) without needing re-approval.
• Needs Fix Notifications: If an item lacks crucial details (such as missing HSN code or blurry image), it enters 'NEEDS YOUR FIX', allowing you to correct it via the Seller Console.

4. Seller Tax & Regulatory Compliance

Sellers on GradeMart operate as independent commercial entities and retain full legal responsibility for:

• GST Slabs & HSN Codes: Declaring truthful and legally accurate HSN/SAC codes and applicable GST rates (0%, 5%, 12%, 18%, 28%) under Indian GST laws.
• Stock Accuracy: Maintaining truthful physical inventory to ensure orders can be fulfilled within the agreed SLA (Standard: within 24 to 48 hours).
• Legal Metrology & Packaging: Ensuring packaged weights, dimensions, and country of origin declarations comply with Indian Legal Metrology Rules.
• Invoicing & Dispatch: GradeMart calculates taxes and generates standardized B2B tax invoices based on seller-provided HSN codes. Sellers remain legally responsible for genuine goods and valid warranties.

5. Offline Continuity & Uptime Guarantees

Industrial operations face network drops and office closures. GradeMart is engineered for high resilience:

• Last-Known Stock Caching: If your local PC running Tally is turned off, goes to sleep, or loses internet connectivity, GradeMart safely preserves the last synchronized stock count.
• Auto-Resumption: As soon as your computer restarts and reconnects, synchronization resumes automatically without data corruption or duplicate listings.
• One-Click Revocation: You can pause, disconnect, or rotate your API keys at any time from Seller Console ➔ Integrations.
