Whether you have tens or thousands of industrial products, GradeMart supports bulk onboarding and updates via standard Excel (.xlsx) workbooks, CSV files, and live Google Sheets. This guide explains how to prepare your file, review data completeness, and apply instant bulk fixes.
1. Direct Excel / CSV Upload Workflow
- Download the GradeMart Workbook: Log in to Seller Console ➔ Products (https://www.grademart.in/seller/products). Click 'Export ➔ Excel (.xlsx)' to download your active catalog, or click 'Bulk-fix workbook' if you have products needing fixes.
- Fill Mandatory Data: Ensure every row contains a unique SKU, title, base price excluding GST, stock count, category, HSN code, GST rate, and at least one public HTTPS image URL.
- Add Shipping & Packaging Attributes: For accurate Shiprocket logistics calculations, include weight in grams and package dimensions (L × W × H in mm).
- Upload Your File: Click 'Import' on the Products page, select your .xlsx or .csv file, and inspect the import preview modal.
- Confirm Import: Click 'Apply Changes'. Existing products update their prices and stock immediately. Newly created items enter 'PENDING_REVIEW' for admin approval.

4. Live Google Sheets Auto-Sync
If your operations team maintains inventory in a shared cloud spreadsheet, connect your Google Sheet directly:
- Upload your GradeMart Excel template to Google Drive and open it as a Google Sheet.
- In GradeMart Seller Console, go to Integrations ➔ click 'Connect Google Sheet'.
- Authorize Google read-only access and paste the Sheet URL (e.g. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/...).
- Set the worksheet tab name (default: 'Products').
- Click 'Authorize Google Sheet'. GradeMart will periodically pull stock counts and price adjustments automatically.
Note: GradeMart only requests read-only permissions and will never alter, edit, or delete any cells in your Google Sheet.
5. Fast Bulk Fixes for Incomplete Items
If products are marked as 'NEEDS YOUR FIX', you can fix multiple items at once:
- Select multiple products using the checkboxes on the Products dashboard.
- Click 'Apply shared details' to mass-apply country of origin, manufacturer, or dimensions across all selected items.
- Or download the 'Bulk-fix workbook', fill in the missing columns, and re-import.
