The GradeMart Tally Connector is a zero-install, native Windows agent that bridges your local TallyPrime accounting system with the GradeMart B2B marketplace. It automatically checks and synchronizes your non-moving, surplus, or liquidation inventory and purchase costs every 15 minutes.
1. Prerequisites
- A Windows PC or laptop with TallyPrime installed and running.
- Your company loaded in TallyPrime.
- Local network permissions to enable Tally's built-in HTTP server on Port 9000.
- An active GradeMart Seller Account with access to the Seller Console (https://www.grademart.in/seller).
2. Step-by-Step Configuration
- Open TallyPrime: Launch TallyPrime on your Windows PC and ensure your active company is open.
- Enable Local HTTP Connectivity (Port 9000): In Tally, press F1 (Help) on the top menu ➔ Settings ➔ Connectivity ➔ Client/Server configuration. Set 'TallyPrime acts as' to 'Both' (or 'Server') and Port to '9000'. Press Ctrl + A to save. If prompted, restart TallyPrime.
- Create the Liquidation Stock Group: Go to Gateway of Tally ➔ Create ➔ Stock Group. Enter Name: 'Non Moving' (under Primary). Set 'Should quantities of items be added?' to Yes. Press Ctrl + A to save. (Sub-groups like 'Non Moving ➔ Cutting Tools' are also supported and detected automatically).
- Tag Your Surplus Items: Go to Gateway of Tally ➔ Alter ➔ Stock Item. Select the item you wish to liquidate on GradeMart, and change its 'Under' category to 'Non Moving'. Press Ctrl + A to save.
- Download Pre-Configured Connector: Open your browser and go to GradeMart Seller Console ➔ Integrations (https://www.grademart.in/seller/integrations). Click 'Connect Tally' ➔ 'Create Tally connection' ➔ click 'Download 1-Click Windows Connector (.zip)'.
- Launch on Windows: Unzip 'GradeMart-Tally-Connector.zip' in your Downloads or Documents folder. Double-click 'run-tally-connector.bat'. A command window will open, verify Tally connectivity on port 9000, and immediately push your items and quantities to GradeMart Cloud.
- Keep Minimized: Keep the connector window minimized on your taskbar. It runs silently in the background, checking Tally and updating GradeMart every 15 minutes.
3. Automatic Start on Windows Boot (No Daily Manual Click)
You do not need to manually double-click the BAT file every morning. Configure Windows to start it automatically:
- Press Windows Key + R on your keyboard to open the Windows Run dialog.
- Type 'shell:startup' and press Enter. The Windows Startup folder will open.
- Right-click 'run-tally-connector.bat' in your extracted connector folder and select 'Create shortcut'.
- Copy or move that newly created shortcut into the Startup folder.
- Done! Whenever your Windows PC powers on or reboots, the GradeMart connector will launch automatically in the background.
4. Private Purchasing Cost Floor Protection
GradeMart extracts the actual purchase rate or standard cost from your Tally stock records alongside the available quantity. This purchasing price is protected under enterprise-grade encryption:
- Your purchase cost is NEVER visible to buyers or published on the public storefront.
- GradeMart uses this cost internally to verify that discounted liquidation pricing remains strictly above your acquisition cost.
- You retain 100% control over the final public selling price via the GradeMart Seller Console.
